A short course for adult beginners and improvers. No prior knowledge of painting required but it is recommended that you have already have some basic drawing skills.
Learn oil painting techniques.
Learn to use paint cleanly, respecting your wellbeing and the environment.
Learn to use colour effectively. Beginners will use a smaller range of colours, which will be added to as you progress.
Learn traditional oil painting techniques to start paintings.
Includes demonstrations and one to one guidance. This is a small group. With good engagement you will make progress by following this teaching.
Mixture of subject matter/ starting points from real objects to photos of landscape/ seascape depending on your experience.
A basic materials list of what to bring will be given prior to the start, this will be added to as you progress.
