ART SUMMER SCHOOL

Ages 12+ no upper age limit

Aimed at people who might like to take a course in GCSE or A level Art, or are already doing so. This short course is designed to help you acquire essential drawing and painting skills to boost your ability to draw quickly and accurately, and handle paint confidently. Both GCSE and A Level are demanding courses, and I have been called upon to help students who are struggling or parents who are panicking. I would prefer to be proactive and boost the skills and knowledge of students before a preventable crisis. I was taught to draw, not just copy, and I can teach you this skill. I can also introduce you to art history in a fun, memorable way, which will make the written aspects of these courses more manageable. Parents who want to know how to support their teenagers and mature students looking at courses are also welcome to apply. Minimum age 12. This is a five session commitment, as it progresses over the week. Materials included. You will be able to use the work done in this week as homework/ coursework, if you want to, getting a head start on for the autumn.

£250

Friday 16 August 10am-12noon

Summer School Art Morning

Ages 7-18 years £25 (or £20 if also enrolled on the week of afternoons)

Ideal for students not quite old enough for Summer School but already hoping to take Art GCSE, or older students unavailable for the full summer school. You may also meet Summer School students who want to get their GCSE/ A level style project finished on the last day.

Quick link here http://www.juliarenault.com/application-form

Your application form will be read by Julia who will then send a payment request.

The whole application process is on line and very quick – just remember one form per student but you can put several sessions on the form for one student.

I look forward to welcoming art students of all stages to my studio, to experience being an artist. Once I have received your application form, I will contact you for payment and send you information to help you get the best from your course.

Remember that early application is encouraged for these popular courses, as I limit the number of students to eight.
